After scrapping a planned 2007 tour earlier this year, Van Halen is reportedly planning a U.S. tour that should start in September, with Wolfgang Van Halen replacing Michael Anthony and with David Lee Roth on vocals. All bets are off if Eddie Van Halen drives by a bar between now and then.

Van Halen Fails To Show Up For Rock Hall Induction

Van Halen was officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday. Sadly, the only members of the band who managed to show up were replacement signer Sammy Hagar and recently ousted bassist Michael Anthony. We’re also getting unconfirmed reports of people seeing Gary Cherone parking cars outside the building.

Eddie Van Halen To Blame For Van Halen Breakdown?

It has been reported that Eddie Van Halen’s alcohol problems were the real reason for the cancellation of a planned Van Halen reunion tour with David Lee Roth this summer. The legendary guitarist is also not expected to attend the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, which makes us sad because we were really looking forward to the unintentional comedy stylings of Mr. Van Halen, in his current condition.
